My Story
My electrical career began the summer between my junior and senior year of high school, wiring new homes alongside my father, Darrel Pinkston. Those early projects taught me craftsmanship, responsibility, and the pride of doing work the right way.
In 1997, I joined Bright Electric full-time. By 2000, I earned my Journeyman license and began managing my own projects and customers. In 2017, I earned my Master Electrician license.
I worked full-time in the field for 24 years before taking over operations in early 2021. That transition marked a major pivot, shifting our focus to become more connected with the general public and establishing Bright Electric as a household name in the Evansville electrical industry.
Today, I work side-by-side with my sister Melanie (licensed electrician & office manager), my son William (the third generation entering the trade), and my nephew Jackson, who is also developing his electrical skillset.
